When Jesus encounters this woman, he learns something! Galilee was the “bread basket of the region” yet there was not enough food for the people living there. This woman knew there should be enough food for everyone. In the most unlikely places you can find someone who sees and knows the lavishness of God in his Kingdom.
During Covid, many people learned to make bread. Bread is very significant in the Bible. It is a staple food.
The woman who comes to Jesus knows that in a Jesus Kingdom there is enough bread for everyone.
In our world that is not so. How can the Earth and Environment be better cared for, so there is bread for everyone?
