Come, Let Us Return to the Lord
Through the prophet Hosea's story of faithful love and Israel's betrayal, we discover a God whose heart breaks for his people and whose invitation to return remains open — if we'll respond with more than words.
7th June, 2026 (Year A – Pentecost 2) “The Heartbreak of Hope”
Hosea in the 8th Century lived in a divided Kingdom and he spoke to the people about their separation from the God that still loved them. By returning back to God’s ways they knew God would heal them, bind up their wounds and restore them. It seems this message of ‘turning back to God’ is as relevant today in this Century, God wants more than words but our actions. God does not give up on His people.

29th June 2025 (Year C – Pentecost 3) “Fruit of The Spirit – Pulling the Weeds”
To grow our own food we need a garden of good soil, free of weeds and rubbish. To grow the fruits of The Spirit we need to constantly evaluate our words and acts. We need to work with God to evaluate what is sinful (bad) and what is good. We need to be sure we are not tricked by flowers that are actually weeds!
