In a world gripped by fear and uncertainty, Jesus' repeated greeting of "Peace be with you" offers not a feel-good sentiment but the transformative presence of God — a shalom that meets us behind our locked doors.
In our very troubled world how do we navigate a sense of peace? Many are locked away in fear but Jesus tells us 3 times “Peace be with you”. Take Notice! Jesus has a solution for doubters – not only Thomas but for all of us. This is so all may have life and a life that takes away our fears.

What good news do we proclaim? It will be different for every time and place. But the common thread is we are ‘Servant People of our Servant Lord’ and our ‘Servantship’ must express the Mission of God – the way Christ lived and taught.

Following Jesus is not an easy choice. It may require us to make Jesus our ‘Top Priority’ and be willing to give up anything for God. However it may not be an ‘either’ /’or’ choice but finding a balance in our commitment and making Jesus the foundation of all we are trying to do so we can say “Amen”.
