Come and See: The Joy of Sharing What We've Experienced
Just as people couldn't help but share the wonder of bioluminescent waters, we are called to testify to God's goodness—not through judgment, but through curious, relational invitation.
18th January, 2026 (Year A – Epiphany 2) “Come and See”
People in Lake Macquarie, NSW, who experienced something wonderful when the water lit up with a bright luminescence, wanted everyone to come and see it. When John baptised Jesus, he realised the spirit had come and that Jesus was the one to bring healing and wholeness to people and wanted others to come and see. We are called to share excitedly, (just like the phosphorescence people did) God’s divine peace and love to those around us and invite them to come and see.

Many rivers and wetlands are being revived and cleaned so that in the environment, people and animals can share the spaces. This is happening world wide. Today we hear about some of the places in NSW where programs and places are being developed. New hope is being given to species in our environment. Rivers are being refreshed.
22nd September 2024 (Year B -‘Season of Creation’) “Acting with Hope”

Our lives depend, directly and indirectly, on the integrity of forests. We need to make ourselves aware of the biodiversity and ecosystems functions, upon which we all depend. The Season of Creation is a time of celebration as well as a time to commit to a ministry of healing our Earth, with Christ and creation as our partners.
