I grew up in Hornsby Heights and went to Kuringai Creative Arts High School. I met my wife Amy in 1999 whilst leading at a Vision Valley kid’s camp – we now have two young boys and a pair of cavoodles. My spare time is often spent gaming, at the skate park with the boys or spending time with Amy. I love music, free time and Facebook market place. I joined the PUC team in 2015.

The Good Shepherd Who Lays Down His Life

Jesus paints a radical picture of a shepherd who doesn't just risk his life but willingly lays it down for his sheep — a God who is the polar opposite of every indifferent deity the ancient world imagined.

26th April, 2026 (Year A – Easter 4) “The Good Shepherd”

This parable is a well known story of the Good Shepherd who was prepared to lay down his life for his sheep to keep them safe. The sheep knew the voice of their shepherd – as sheep do we know and hear the voice of Jesus and God? This story is talking about a reckless love for his sheep – a matter of life and death. We need to listen.

26th April, 2026 (Year A – Easter 4) “The Good Shepherd”

20th April 2025 (Year C – Easter Sunday) “Meeting Christ on the Road”

Many voices can be heard in our world – What is true?  What is false? What do we disregard? Is it reasonable to believe something we did not get to experience? The 2 people traveling to Emmaus may have the answer… on that road, the stranger with them, shared the scriptures which were enough to believe that what they had heard was true – Jesus<br /> died and rose again – their hearts were set on fire!

If we want the world to see God’s love it has to be through Christians (His people), when they overtly act in love to their neighbors, with God’s help.   John Paul 2 reaction after he was shot, was still ringing powerfully in the mind of the aggressor 30 years later, because John Paul’s act of forgiveness, was a revelation of the love of God to that man.  Hear that story today!

28th April 2024 (Year B – Easter 5) “God is Love!”
