“Devout Jews from every nation under heaven” gathered in Jerusalem and witnessed an electrifying, mind blowing event as the Spirit of God breaks in to declare a new reality. Pentecost is a movement of renewal and transformation for no-one is excluded and where every race, culture and nation, has a calling and a place’.
On this special Day of Pentecost, how can we tell others about who we are and how we are called to be a Christian Church?
The Uniting Church logo points people in the direction of its story.
It tells of the the cross over a darkened world, the wings of flame of the Holy Spirit, the dove represents peace and well-being; and the incomplete circle, that renewing the world is a continuing hope.
